Three Parks, Three Unique Ecosystems

Tsavo West National Park
Known for its striking volcanic landscape, Tsavo West features lava flows, natural springs, and rugged hills. Highlights include Mzima Springs—a crystal-clear water source home to hippos and crocodiles—and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where rare black rhinos are protected. With its lush vegetation and hilly terrain, the park is also home to elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and numerous bird species.

Amboseli National Park
Set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and vast open plains. The park offers excellent wildlife viewing, including lions, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes. The relatively sparse vegetation and seasonal wetlands create ideal conditions for spotting animals, and birdwatchers can look forward to over 400 recorded bird species.

Tsavo East National Park
Larger and more arid than its western counterpart, Tsavo East is known for wide savannas, the Galana River, and the red-hued elephants that dust themselves in the iron-rich soil. Key features include the Yatta Plateau—the longest lava flow in the world—and the Lugard Falls. The park offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, and more.

Who This Safari Is Ideal For
