The park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including the famous “red elephants of Tsavo,” which get their reddish appearance from dust-bathing in the region’s iron-rich soil. After a 230 km,approximately 3 to 4 hours away. drive through Mombasa and on the main road towards Nairobi, you will enter the Taita Hills Conservation Area (located on the edge of Tsavo West), which is particularly impressive due to its breathtaking and rugged landscape. We pause for a delicious lunch, a perfect moment to reflect on the safari experience. Then, we continue our journey, heading back to your accommodation, where you’ll arrive in the afternoon or evening, filled with the essence of pure Kenya.
